Shikakai or Seeyakkai (natural Herbal Hair wash) Powder is a mild cleanser with naturally less pH value. Shikakai powder acts as natural conditioner and does not remove the natural oils from our hair when used. Shikakai powder is used to treat various hair and scalp related problems. Shikakai helps hair growth, lesser hair fall, and hair breakage and also provides shine to the hair.

• Apply all over the head and leave for 30 minutes and wash it with water.
• You can also use vadicha kanji [boiled rice water or water obtained after cooking the rice] instead of water to make the mixture.

Using Shikakai Powder (Herbal Hair Wash Powder) as hair mask:

• Take the required amount of Shikakai or Seeyakkai powder (3-4 Table spoons approx. or as required) depending upon the length of the hair and mix it with water and make a fine paste.
• Apply the paste on the scalp and hair, leave it for about 30 minutes and then wash it off. You can also use curd instead of water.
